Delicious and healing food, cooked from scratch
We always try to make our food healing, nutritious and delicious.
Cooked from scratch, using local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
We buy our bread from the local bakery in Wiksfors, the eggs from the farm on the other side of the lake, and the beef comes from cows pastured a few hundred metres down the road.
If you have special requests or needs regarding the food, we can almost always arrange it. Just let us know in advance.

The restaurant
The heart of Hotel Vildmarken is our dining room, with a fireplace for cosy rainy evenings and a large covered terrace overlooking the lake.
Here we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to our pre-booked guests.
If you want to come and eat, call us and see what we have to offer. Opening hours and offerings vary, so always check with us first.
Summer café
During the summer season we have our summer café open, when you can come in for an ice cream, a coffee or a light lunch. Perfect to come up for an ice cream when the sun gets too hot on the beach.
Book your own event
Do you want to celebrate a family celebration, gather your work friends or maybe have a larger party with an overnight stay. We serve up a nice 3-course meal, a BBQ with authentic western steak, or a cosy lunch on the terrace. Everything based on your wishes! Get in touch!
